Daniel specialises in genetic improvement across Australia’s diverse sheep population, looking into genetic traits and their relative importance to the sheep’s biology and enterprise profitability. Daniel develops the systems to ensure accurate estimates of genetic merit, which are essential for for rapid breeding improvement and hence improving the profitability of sheep enterprises.
